ANTIAIRCRAFT COMMAND - Preserving the History of U.S. Army Anti-aircraft Artillery of World War II

134th Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion (Mobile), Battery D

The following is a PDF file replicating the text of the history of D Battery of the 134th AAA Gun Battalion.  Although this record chronicles the action and activities of Dog Battery, it should be of wider interest to those seeking information on the battalion.  The 134th AAA was part of the 49th AAA Brigade's shield over Liege, Belgium, engaging the seemingly ceaseless lobbing of buzz bombs.  D Battery, like many 90mm AA units, was assigned an anti-tank mission during the Battle of the Bulge.

This unit history has been reproduced and provided by Jeff Pfeister in memory of his father, John Pfeister, a D Battery, 134th AAA veteran (pictured here).
