104th Antiaircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion (Mobile)

    

     The following is the typewritten unit history of the 104th AAA AW Bn reproduced in PDF format. This narrative covers the period from the battalion's formation and induction through August 1944.  Following the period recorded, the organization would participate in the Luzon campaign and eventually be awarded the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation for their contributions.  The battalion was inactivated at Saijo, Japan in January 1946.  

 

     This document and photograph was provided by the son of a battalion veteran who desired to see the unit's history archived and made available to all who are interested.
